One command tells you if the hardware is capable of running 64-bit. The
other tells you which kernel is running (32 or 64-bit).

The -K is the "which kernel is running" I believe. The -y is "What about
    the hardware"

Allright, so clear this up for me.

One suggestion is "bootinfo -K". This tells me 32.
The other suggestion is "bootinfo -y". This tells me 64.

Neither of these switches seem to be documented in the man pages, so please
    explain what these do.

    Thanks,
    Eric

What is the command to find out that you are running 32-bit kernel or 64
    bit kernel..........

    Thanks
