    Another thought: I would advise against having VGs vary on automatically at
    startup, because you can't guarantee that all disks will be available at
    that time. Consider the case where you're doing power maintenance, and all
    machines are shut down. The sequence in which the machines are started and
    their specific hardware configurations will determine at what point the
    loops are intact. Any maintenance where you have two or more nodes down at
    once could produce problems.
