    Sorry, but AIX 4.3.3 doesn't support such change (in mounted our umounted
    filesystem), at least we had tried and no success (error: Field cannot be
    changed). You must recreate your filesystems with large file support, or I
    miss something ...

    No reboot is necessary, just a re-mount.

    Which can be done on the fly if the filesystem is not being used.
