    Subject: NFS problem

I am having a problem implementing NFS for a CDROM(actually a DVDROM) on
    a P690 Regatta as follows:

    Lpar1
Created and mounted CDROM file system (/cdrom mounted over /cdrom) Added
directory /cdrom to export list Exported directory

    Lpar2
    Added filesystem for mounting (lpar1:/cdrom)

    Receive error:
     mount: server operations not responding
: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Timed out
    mount: retrying
      operations:/cdrom

    I can ping Lpar1 without a problem.
    /etc/hosts has been checked

Has anyone a clue as to what I am missing here?
