zcat problem under 5.1 ML3

    Chaps,

    We upgraded to ML03 (AIX 5.1) on our p690 at the weekend. Since then zcat
    won't read .z files. Eg:

     zcat ./smit.log.z
    ./smit.log.z.Z: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

    Although it will quite happily read smit.log.Z.

    Anyone come across this behaviour?
