How do I use syscalls?

    I've received a somewhat vague request from a developer to run syscalls for
    him. I've checked the manual entry for syscalls and I think I'm invoking it
    correctly, but it doesn't seem to be generating any significant output: just
    some headers. So I guess I'm doing something wrong.

    Can anyone tell me how to run syscalls for an existing process?
