Compatibility between C and C++ compiler version 3.6.6 and AIX 5. 1

    Greetings,

    Does anyone have a work around to get IBM C and C++ compiler version 3.6.6
    to work with AIX 5.1? I just upgraded my AIX box from 4.3.3 to 5.1 and look
    like this version of C compiler is not compatible with AIX 5.1. The error I
    got is "cc: 1501-224 fatal error in /usr/ibmcxx/exe/xlcentry: signal 11
    received". The compiler version is "ibmcxx.cmp 3.6.6.0 IBM C and C++
    Compilers".
