What is important is that the Oracle block size is a multiple of the OS
    block size.

It is my understand that AIX read/write I/O blocksize is 4K. Let's
    say
Oracle I/O blocksize is 8k. Is it meant that the OS would do two I/O
    for every Oracle I/O request?
