    In the past I've heard about a program that could shrink the filesystems
    the same way you do with "chfs" to increase. I don't remember the program
    name but if you search on this list archives you will probably find it.

    Take a mksysb
    Boot and restore the mksysb, and select "Reduce filesystems"
