    Ron,

    Go to the following directory and you should find the correct version of
    sendmail.cf to use:

    /usr/lpp/bos.net/inst_root/etc

    Back up the original, and replace it with the copy from the above directory
    and make your changes.

    Do a stopsrc and startsrc of sendmail, and not a refresh to activate it.

    Hello we are experiencing problems with sendmail.
    The system is a Risc 6000 / f4025 running 4.3.3. ML08

    I get this error when trying to run /usr/sbin/sendmail -vt
    bramblet@fuller.com

    Warning: .cf file is out of date: sendmail AIX4.3/8.9.3 supports version
    8, .cf file is version 6

    can someone send me a pointer of how to reinstall sendmail and get
    everything working again??
