According to the old IBM doc, the H70 required AIX 4.3.3 if I recall
    correctly.

Ok, need some devices drivers for AIX 4.2.1 (Yes, you read right, that
    was 4.2.1)

Had a H50 with additional drives in both its "six-packs". Took a mksysb of
it and installed it on an H70 that has one internal drive on scsi0 and
another drive on scsi1. When the system was done NIM'ing, it cannot see
hdisk1 nor scsi1. Do a cfgmgr and it complains as such:

    H70# cfgmgr
    Method error (/usr/lib/methods/cfgecpa -l ppa0):
            0514-038 Error loading kernel extension.
cfgmgr: 0514-621 WARNING: The following device packages are required for
device support but are not currently installed.
    devices.pci.scsi:devices.pci.00100c00:devices.pci.0c000100
    devices.pci.ssa:devices.pci.14109100:devices.pci.14105800:devices.pci.0c000c02

    H70#

It has two SSA cards that we are NOT using. Why the "ppa0" error? Not
    sure yet?

    But the "devices.pci.scsi:devices.pci.00100c00:devices.pci.0c000100" is
what I think is the real problem. Until we get this fixed, cannot move the
extra (non-rootvg) drives from the H50 to the H70.

Here is what a similar H70 says in "lscfg -v" (can't do this on the H70
with AIX 4.2.1 since It does not show anything in lscfg -v)

From talking to a friend in IBM, it sounds like we might find the devices
drivers on either a later ML CD for 4.2.1 or the 4.2.1 Update CD. Have not
been able to find anything on IBM websites.

Any help, direction would be greatly appreciated.

BY THE WAY: Yes, we are planning on updating the OS. Need to get the box
up and running with non-rootvg drives first though.
