Hello all, I am looking for examples of written IT policies that I can use
to base my own IT policies on. The policies are on such IT issues as web,
file, MIS database server usage/administration by end users AND trusted IT
users. A definition of 'trusted IT users' would be nice. root and
Administrator usage (who should use, when and why) etc...

Any examples or links would be appreciated. Personal experience with this
type of policy writing would be great as well. I am in a higher education
    environment if that matters.
