Hi,
thanks for your fast response.
Yes, we are running LPD on the W2K box. The print file is simple text.
We pointed the AIX queue to another spoolserver (NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a)
who used the same printer (DR501) and it worked.
To us it seems to be a problem with the W2K spool server. It's either a
problem with the setup or its a bug in W2K (the spool server is at Service Pack 4).

how is the queue set up on on the W2k server? Is it LPD server? Is the
file your printing compatable on the printer? What format does the printer
expect? Does the file need to be Ascii or Postscript, do you autoconvert it?
Printers sometimes swallow a print file they don't understand.
