problems with db2adutl after UDB upgrade

    Hi all,

     

    Platform: Client - AIX 5.1 ML3 / TSM 5.1.5

                            Server - AIX 5.1 ML3 / TSM 5.1.6.3

     

    I recently upgraded DB2/UDB on the client from EE V7 FP8 to ESE V8 FP5.

     

    I am now unable to query the server using the db2adutl command. I
    receive the error "Error: Initialize environment failed with ADSM return
    code 400." Nothing is being reported, in the either the server activity
    log or the client's error log, when this error is being generated.

     

    I am able to authenticate and change the password with the dsmapipw
    command.
