The AIX cds have been dumped to disk on one server and that directory has been exported to my nim server for AIX 433 lppsource creation. My NIM server does have root client acess to teh NFS export for sure. I was not aware that NIM insists on a .toc file creation I will delete the .toc file and try my lppsource creation and see if it works and respond. Thanks Yves.

What do you mean by the media is available via NFS ?
Did you mount a CD in a machine, mount it and NFS export it ?
Or did you copy it to a disk and NFS export that directory ??

Does your NFS client has the right for root to write on the NFS server ?
I have run in a lot of problems with this, because NIM insist on
    re-creating the .toc file.

    Yves.
