Can't configure hdisk

    Our hdisk0 has been mirrored to hdisk1, we had a few power outages recently, each time the state for all the LVs were stale. I was able to un-mirror and mirror again every time except this time. was unable to configure hdisk1. Would appreciate your suggestions on how to fix this problem.

    # cfgmgr
    Method error (/etc/methods/cfgscdisk -l hdisk1 ):
            0514-077 Cannot perform the requested function because none of the
                     specified paths match those for the specified device.

    #lsdev -Cc disk
    hdisk0 Available 3s-08-00-8,0 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive
    hdisk1 Defined 3s-08-00-9,0 Other SCSI Disk Drive ?????

    # lqueryvg -p hdisk1 -At
    0516-320 lqueryvg: Physical volume hdisk1 is not assigned to
            a volume group.
    0516-024 lqueryvg: Unable to open physical volume.
            Either PV was not configured or could not be opened. Run
            diagnostics.

    #smit diag ---->
