Seems OK. Evidently, the info on the VGs is different ?

Folks,
We are going to sawp a system from a 9980 disk farm
to a 9960 disk farm temporarily for some testing
We have performed the following:
mksysb
Backup all other volume groups to TSM
Here's the plan:
export the volume groups except rootvg
remove the volume groups
physically disconnect the 9980 disk farm
connect the 9960 disk farm
do our testing (It will overwrite rootvg)
reconnect the 9980 disk farm
restore rootvg through mksysb
import the volume groups
Does this sound correct?
Thanks!
