You cannot do disk quotas on JFS2 filesystems.

I'm interested to know what people think of the new JFS2.
I know that it increases the limits on file and filesystem size, but if one
doesn't need this extra capacity are they worth using? I've seen vague
claims of performance improvements: any truth in this?
I'm not about to go changing my existing filesystems - far too much effort!
    - but I want to know whether to consider them for new installs, and for any
    new filesystems I create.
I'd be particularly interested in any experience using them with Oracle
    tablespaces.

I also have a couple of questions to which I couldn't find ready answers.
Can a JFS2 and a JFS use the same log, or do you need a separate log for
    each type of filesystem?
If you have an imbedded log in a JFS2, can you increase its size later, if
    necessary?
