I'm getting an error in one of my p690 LPARs. (Other LPARs in the same box
are unaffected.
It's at AIX 5.1.0.0-04 and PSSP 3.4.
E142C6D4 0715070104 T H sysplanar0 EEH temporary error for adapter
This occurs at the same time every day. There's nothing in crontab running
at that time.
The detailed error report has a bunch of numbers which don't make any sense
to me.
Diagnostics don't reveal any problems.
Everything seems to be working fine, but it's irritating because the error
log keeps triggering alarms and of course I'm concerned that maybe there is
some underlying problem, or something that's in danger of failing.
The only other errors in the log go back to just before this started, and
are some temporary errors on a fibre-channel adapter:

825849BF 0416153404 T H fcs1 ADAPTER ERROR
D0EAC662 0416153404 T H fcs1 MICROCODE PROGRAM ERROR
These have not occurred since. (The microcode was updated around that
time.)
Can anybody tell me how to find out which particular adapter/slot is
causing
the problem, or help me in understanding the meaning of the error?
Thanks,
