    Hello David,
    a couple of questions - what do you mean "boot off mksysb but it
    failed"? Boot from tape failed ? Any ledcode ? Did you check the
    bootlist? Did you specify which bootlist to use ?

    Note that when booting from AIX product CDs, a level of kernel used on
    CDs should correspond to the level of aix kernel installed (including
    correct ML) on the box.
