    It depends...

    If you're downloading ML03 from the IBM site, you can specify what ML you're
    upgrading from. Provided you specify that you're coming from the base level
    you'll be OK. Otherwise, any filesets updated by ML01 or ML02 but NOT
    updated by ML03 won't be included.

    Provided you've done this there is no need to apply each ML separately.

    If you've got each ML supplied on CD you may have to do ML01, 02 and 03 in
    succession, although you don't have to re-boot between each one. (This
    depends on exactly what you've been shipped: you may have all previous
    fixes, as with the download.) You could copy the fixes from each CD to
    disk, generate a new .toc and apply the maintenance from there in one go.
