Problems with slow backup!

    Question:

    After having a new tape drive installed on our system we have been having slower backups. They have increased more than 30mins. For the same amount of data.

    I am trying to troubleshoot this problem and get it back to where it backups at its normal time. What kind of things should I look for in troubleshooting this problem? Would error saying the image maybe to large for tape have something to do with this problem?
