Truncated ouput

    Here is my dillema If I issue the command msgview -search SCP, via terminal input (msgview is a vendor supplied app), I get the line: 003975 08/31 12:07 aud SCP_StopServer The server Discern Expert Server (CPM.EKS) entry 175 was stopped by SYSTEM; ... However if I issue nohup msgview -search SCP > dave Or run msgview -search SCP > dave Via cron, the line stored in dave is: 003975 08/31 12:07 aud SCP_StopServer The server Discern Exper... .........Question is how can I get the output redirected to a file, and get the entire line?
