why does my xntpd subsystem keep on stopping.

I've edited my /etc/ntp.conf for the server it needs
and the /etc/hosts for the IP addr location of server name.

Anything else I need to do? to sync my clock?
on the host server, I've also identified the client server above.

    TIA,

    Joe
