    You extended it by just over 1%, but the %used has remained the same.
    What does svmon -G show in similar circumstances?

    It's possible that it's been sorted out now: my problems were on a 4.3
    system. However, I suspect that although the paging space LV has been
    extended the map of it in memory has not been changed and the new space is
    not being used.
