I believe that is only true if hd6 is a dump device AND/OR it is the only
    paging space:

    sapbox:/ >mkps -s 10 rootvg hdisk0
    paging00

    sapbox:/ >swapon /dev/paging00

    sapbox:/ >lsps -a
Page Space Physical Volume Volume Group Size %Used Active Auto
    Type
    paging00 hdisk0 rootvg 320MB 1 yes no
    lv
    hd6 hdisk0 rootvg 3264MB 1 yes yes
    lv

    sapbox:/ >sysdumpdev -l
    primary /dev/primdump
    secondary /dev/secdump
    copy directory /var/dumpdir
    forced copy flag FALSE
    always allow dump FALSE
    dump compression ON

    sapbox:/ >swapoff /dev/hd6

    sapbox:/ >lsps -a
Page Space Physical Volume Volume Group Size %Used Active Auto
    Type
    paging00 hdisk0 rootvg 320MB 1 yes no
    lv
    hd6 hdisk0 rootvg 3264MB 0 no yes
    lv

Not so! lsps figures will be what is actually being used.
If an extendlv was done, the new space will not be used. hd6 cannot be
swapped off so a reboot may be required.
I'm pretty sure I found a way of dealing with this situation, just by
playing around with the chps command but I can't find my notes at the
    moment.
