    The serial heartbeat is non-IP.

    HACMP will monitor all of the IP networks defined to it, which will involve
    some heartbeat traffic but that's usually very low.
    There will also be a little bit of traffic over the HACMP administrative
    network. That, too, should be very low but may rise somewhat if there's
    activity going on. e.g. LVM changes; any HACMP changes or verification.

    Are you experiencing a problem, or just curious?
