Betreff: install software
Hi,
If I have a third party software which is not specifically designed for AIX
(What I mean by saying this is, the file format of the installation files is
not in bff format.), and I want to install and wish to see this file set
name in lslpp output, how do I achieve this.
B'coz one of the system I have seen had a fileset that is customised for
that server. The lslpp output on the server, had the managed services
company's name as the fileset name.
TIA
Praveen
