Hi Bill,
the date what have shown is correct which I can see t from utmp file.
Error log does no show any thing related to this. We have recycled this
machine like any other time.
Now I am searching ways to fix this with 'no' reboot though its quality
system with lots of SAP activity now.
Yes John, its pulling time from /etc/utmp file.
top line from utmp file shows as below,
system boot 2 0 0000 0000 153 Wed Dec 31 19:02:33 EST

Sounds like the clock changed back to epoch (December 31, 18:00:00
1969)
Anything in the error log ? Is there a chance that it booted with a
bad
date (such as the one above), and then someone changed the date to be
current ?

12717
days. Can somebody point me how to change back to 2 days.
