    The other possibility is a corrupted boot record in utmp. This is usually
    caused by someone running an improperly compiled xterm.

    Sounds like the clock changed back to epoch (December 31, 18:00:00 1969)

    Anything in the error log ? Is there a chance that it booted with a bad date
    (such as the one above), and then someone changed the date to be current ?

    last night, after quality(s80) system recycle system uptime shows 12717 days.
    Can somebody point me how to change back to 2 days.
