this error-msg is sometimes misleading
that means, the error is not always some process using this fs, but that
the server isnt reachable
is the nfs-server still down?
then configure an alias on your interface for the nfs-server and retry
something like ifconfig en0 alias ip_of_nfs_server

Subject: nfs problem
Got an AIX 4.3.3 box that we are having some nfs problems with. The
server hosting the NFS share crashed. Now on the NFS client box (AIX
server) we are unable to umount the filesystem. After issuing the
umount -f command, we get
umount: 1831-015 16 error while unmounting host:/nfs -
The requested resource is busy.
We cant find any processes using the filesystem and have tried fuser.
Any other ideas?
