Search the archives. We had major issues with the migration failing on
AIX 5.1 ML06. I have a machine at ML07 and have not tested the
migration as of yet; but we scratched installed a machine all the way to
AIX ML05 and migrations worked fine. AIX 5.1 ML06 always aborted during
the import of the rootvg. I posted this to AIX-L some time ago.

I have migrated ML03 / ML05 with no issues. Have not tried ML06.

If you get it to work, let me know though it does not affect our shop.
We aborted the ML06 upgrade to migrate our servers to 5.2...

Question: Is there an issue with migrating from 5.1 ML6?

4.3.3 to 5.2 works well. Just don't go to AIX 5.1 ML06 and try to
    migrate.

No major issues noted with our migrations.

Hi All, I am sure that this may have been discussed before. Just
    wondering
if there are any major problems with migrating from 4.3.3 direct to
5.2. Is it better doing it in steps going to 5.1 first then 5.2?

    Regards,

    Billy.
