    I've never seen such a list and I don't believe it does or can exist.

    Some of the hardware installation manuals indicate whether something can be
    installed by the customer.

    In a lot of cases it will depend on the particular terms of your hardware
    maintenance contract.

    It can also vary for a particular device. e.g. Installing a new PCI adapter
    could depend on what model of server you're putting it in. For example,
    installing new cards in a p690 was officially a CE task, even though they're
    hot-swappable. The same card might be installed in a p660 by the customer.
