    I would guess that this is a new device, introduced after the version of the
    install CDs you have were cut.

    I can't really help you here, apart from to suggest you ask your supplier
    for a newer version of the AIX install CDs.

    I would be very interested to know if there is a good solution to this
    general type of problem, of being unable to find base-level filesets: it
    keeps cropping up.
