Hello,
I have an lpar that is attached to the san. For reasons that I could not
control we have all the volume groups coming from the SAN. So, rootvg is
also on the san. One problem I keep having is when I try to load updates
the updates fail with
" 0503-409 bosboot verification starting...
" 0503-497 An error occurred during bosboot verification processing.
I think I know why as powerpath renames "hdisk0" to hdiskpower0. When I
try to run bosboot -a it fails at if can't find /dev/hdisk0 hd5.
I thought you could run "powermt" with a switch to get the system to
recognize hdiskpower0 as the boot device.
Anyone heard of this?
Thanks
John
