    Depends what you mean by "large and thin".

    The PCI nodes are supported, mostly: see the links I posted yesterday.
    However, note that PSSP is NOT supported under AIX 5.3 so it would have to
    be part of a CSM cluster.

    Also, IMO it would be foolish to start any new project on old SP2 hardware
    unless the hardware was already present and was not intended for long term
    use. This hardware has no future: it will probably be dropped from CSM
    eventually. It is also going to become increasingly expensive to maintain.
