I assume you mean IBM Enterprise Storage System(shark/ESS f20/800/ds8x00)
1. You can not use RDAC and SDD together on the same HBAs, so the first
thing that needs to happen is you need to either add HBAs for ESS
attachment, or eliminate some HBAs from RDAC attachment and rededicate for
ESS attachment.
2. Once you've resolved the issue from step 1, and you have a physical
connection to the ESS, and the switches are properly zoned, you will need to
present LUNs from the ESS to the hosts.
3. migrate (assuming aix) using migratepv, mklvcopy, or whatever other
method you choose.
4. if necessary remove the FASTt disk (then you can re-use the RDAC HBAs)
this is obviously a 10,000 ft view of the migration, but this should get you
started.
