RAID5 does overcome the limitations of RAID2,3,4 by distributing parity
information over all disks rather than just one.
You can allocate 5 log vol / physical vol as long as you don't violate the
max # of total physical partitions / physical volume rule as applicable in
your environment.
To determine which hdisk a given log vol resides:
lslv -l hd6
where hd6 is a log vol.
