    I think you might mean the chfs command like

    chfs-m /new/mount /old/mount

    rather than the change nfs mount command ( chnfsmnt )...

            Absolutely--you can rename your mount points by employing the
    "chnfsmnt" command. I would not recommend editing files directly; using
    the "chnfsmnt" command will ensure that the ODM and system definitions
    are updated properly.

    backing up the data, maybie I can just rename mount points.
