    No; I do not mean the "chfs" (change filesystem) command; I mean what I
    say--the "chnfsmnt" (change NFS mount) command.

    I think you might mean the chfs command like

    chfs-m /new/mount /old/mount

    rather than the change nfs mount command ( chnfsmnt )...

            Absolutely--you can rename your mount points by employing the
    "chnfsmnt" command. I would not recommend editing files directly; using
    the "chnfsmnt" command will ensure that the ODM and system definitions
    are updated properly.

I'm moving some filesystem to RAID and instead of
backing up the data, maybie I can just rename mount points.
