As long as the app(sap,db2) can support it, which from what I've read it
    can, you should be fine.
The o/s should be fine. Unless anyone has any known issues or recommended
    maintenance levels?
    Thanks.

    Hi Everyone,

I just thought of taking your opinion before I do on production
    system,

This weekend I am planning to switch AIX5.2 to 64bit on S80 system
which is running SAP/DB264bit to improve our system performance(IBM
expert recommends). Last weekend I have done AIX64bit migration on
couple of pSeries partitions and no problems reported.
Does any one have any recommendation, concerm before going 64bit on
    S80/AIX5.2 machine.
    Please advice.

    thanks in adv.
    muthyam.
