    All,

I have created indexing on security file via the mkpasswd command, now it creates them fine on the passwd & group files but it fails on the lastlog file because of duplicated id's in the lastlog. How does the lastlog file enter duplicated id's and other than coming through the file and manually deleting the duplicate id's how do I delete the duplication id's altogether?

    Thanks
