Subject: compare SP-wide node with a p610 standalone concerning
performance
Hi,
I want to change our SAP - System from a 32-Bit-332MHz-SP-wide node to a
64-Bit-450MHz-p610 standalone node.
The wide node has 2 x 332Mhz CPUs and 1 GB RAM The p610 has 2 x 450 MHz
and 2 GB RAM.
In the moment our SAP-System use 70% CPU and is no paging. Response time
for our users are o.k.
SAP say, when we change our SAP release next year (4.6 C to a new
release) we need 30% more ressources (CPU, RAM, FS, and so on).
Now my question: Can I compare a 2 x 332MHz SP wide node with a 2 x
450MHz standalone p610?
Best regards,
Frank Mueller
