error with mv command

    Hope all have a good friday :)

    When ever I do a mv of a 4GB file from one JFS2 to another JFS2
    filesystem I get the following:

    mv M_LOGS1A /redo1/sdpdata
    M_LOGS1A: Value too large to be stored in data type.

    Does anyone have any ideas what this means? The file appears to mv
    over ok, and when using cp I don't get this message.

    Any clues would be great.
