Thanks!
My system is:
(prtconf)
System Model: IBM,7025-F80
Machine Serial Number: 100491F
Processor Type: PowerPC_RS64-III
Number Of Processors: 1
Processor Clock Speed: 451 MHz
CPU Type: 64-bit
Kernel Type: 64-bit
LPAR Info: -1 NULL
Memory Size: 4096 MB
Good Memory Size: 4096 MB
Firmware Version: IBM,M2P040709_condor_
Any way to determine if the sysplanar/motherboard has been replaced in the
past?
I don't see any evidence through SMIT.
Thanks!

I think you can set it back to the chassis serial via the service
processor. I have seen this happen; but usually in a major upgrade.
You might need a CE code. This used to an issue on S70s when you upgraded
them to the new S7As chipsets.

This could happen if the sysplannar board/motherboard has been replaced
recently.
Thanks.

Anyone see this before?
After a firmware upgrade, the serial number through "prtconf" has changed?
Not the same as the chasis serial number....
Or maybe it's always been different?
Thanks!
