    I asked Vic Abell about a 5.3-version and helped testing after he sent it to me.

    Meanwhile he put it on the ftp-server

    ftp://lsof.itap.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof/binaries/aix/5.3/power/

    IŽd still be interested if anybody has problems. I didnt find any problem.

    I dont have xlc for 5.3 and as far as I know there isnt any gcc for 5.3 yet. I didnt make it to compile it on 5.3 with a 5.2-gcc

    It doesn't work at all! But we're still using 4.61, as most of our systems are 5.1.

    Did you find a pre-compiled version, or did you compile it yourself?

I have no problems with the 5.3 version of lsof 4.75
what does not work for you?

I would guess you need to find a version compiled for 5.2, or download the source and re-compile it yourself.
We're also using 4.61 and it's fine on 5.1 but doesn't work at all on 5.3.
