I know of Tivoli Identity Managment. I never used it though.

Greetings Gurus,
Our fearless leaders are contemplating the split of AIX ID administration
and AIX system administration into two independent IT groups.
I was wondering what the best solution would be - in terms of giving ID
Admins enough authority to add/delete/unlock users and passwords, but
little authority beyond those basic functions...
I have used sudo in the past, unfortunately my admins have an aversion to
using sudo (citing support issues)... I'm a couple years removed from daily
user administration, so I thought I'd throw it to the discussion list... is
there a generic AIX user ID for this function? Any highly recommended
third party software? Tivoli?
Any input/suggestions would be appreciated...
Thanks everyone!
PJ
