    Folks,

    Hope this isn't a FAQ.....

    I have been getting unusually large wtmp files.

    I have been "rolling them over" but they look very strange....

    I checked it out and saw thousands of the following entires:

            tty1 tty1 8 57902 0000 0001 1119669078
                       Fri Jun24 23:11:18 EDT 2005

    I checked "ps" and didn't find "tty1"

    A "last" as well as a "who" doesn't help.

    Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
