We have a 7026-6H1 acting as a fail-over for our production 7026-6M1 system
running a custom application using Oracle. The 6H1 is used for dev when not
in being used in a fail-over situation. Earlier this morning the system
filled up one of the file systems and became very sluggish. By the time I
got access to it, the system was reporting quite a few controller, scsi,
and drive errors. lsdev -Cc disk is shows:
# lsdev -Cc disk
hdisk0 Available 40-60-00-4,0 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive
hdisk1 Available 40-61-00-8,0 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive
hdisk2 Defined 11-08-00-0,0 SCSI Disk Array RAID 5
and
lspv shows:
# lspv hdisk2
0516-010 lspv: Volume group must be varied on; use varyonvg command.
