I need a global patch management application for all platforms.
I need to be able to apply maintenance level patches from this
application to AIX, Novell and Windows. I need to run reports telling me
which nodes need updates, service packs, or maintenance level updates.
I don't need this application to upgrade my operating systems to newer
versions.

Just what do you need it to do?
You're not going to find an application that will function like NIM, but
for Novel & Windows too.
